The story of Ginger Lily goes back 5000 years. The ancient Chinese philosopher Confucius celebrated its healing power, and for the Romans, it was a powerful symbol of wealth and fertility. The Ginger Lily was used mainly as a medicine in ancient Rome and Greece, and in the late Middle Ages, it gained great popularity in Europe as an aphrodisiac.

Hedychium Coronarium Koenig (family Zingiberaceae) is the botanical name for the perennial White Ginger Butterfly plant called Ginger Lily (although it does not belong to the Lily family, it won the same title due to its similar appearance). Hedychium derives from the Greek word 'hedys', meaning sweet, and 'chion', meaning snow, in allusion to the dense white flowers.

Ginger or Butterfly Lily is the most fragrant of all flowers from the ginger family. It is also known as Ginger Butterfly, Butterfly Lilly, and White Ginger. Flowers symbolize love and affection between two soul mates. Its root is a medicinal antioxidant and is known as Ginger root.

Ginger Lilly absolute has a beautiful floral aroma. The complex essence obtained from the plant's flowers is intoxicating and penetrating. White Ginger Absolute is known for its aromatic ability to induce a calming state of mind, making it useful in meditation, spiritual use, as an aphrodisiac, and aromatherapy.

It can be used in oil diffusers, in potpourri, as a mixing ingredient in massage oil, perfume, bath oil, bath salts, bath, shower gels, care oils, and creams, and as a natural fragrance in soap making and candle-making. In aromatherapy, it works mainly for stress relief, calming, meditation, yoga, and spiritual relaxation.
